This past March, the Tohoku Tomo Team was excited to collaborate with the City of Chicago to create Kizuna 4. The event coincided with the 4th anniversary of the events on March 11th and we were happy to share photos captured during our trip to Tohoku in 2014.
Due to the success of the event, the Tohoku Tomo Team will also be part of the Kizuna 5 photo and video message project, which will occur in Chicago in March, 2016. While we are hard at work finishing the short films for the 113 Project, part of the team recently traveled to Japan and spoke with local schools, teachers and young adults in preparation for the Kizuna 5 project. The team was also able to reconnect with some of the people who will be highlighted in the 113 Project's short films, including Mr. Onodera of Full Sail Anchor Coffee.
